Fine Motor-Skills
Fine motor skills are physical movements that help the young and growing children learn to control their muscles in the hands, lips, tongue, toes, fingers, wrists, and the neck. Initially children don’t have much control over the muscles of the above mentioned body parts. Fine motor skills are essential in doing activities such as writing, holding small items, buttoning clothing, turning pages, eating, cutting with scissors, and using computer keyboards. Following activities can be repeatedly done to improve children’s fine motor skills:
· Playing with Building blocks
· Finger Painting
· Holding thread and winding it on reel.
· Video games
· Opening the Lid of a Bottle
