Explain mendal law of segregation ( monohybrid cross)

Let me first tell you the idea he got for this ,when mended crossed a pure tall and a pure dwarf plant then he find a generation of purely tall plants. If we had find an intermediate we would have said that some blending occurred but it was not so and now we have two options that what her one is dominating the other completely without blending or they blend in such a way that one dominates the other . So we self crossed it then we find a dwarf plant as well ,then we conclude that there was no blending in between thetoos traits , that is that they were segregated and not blended .segregation leads to one trait in one gamete and other with another one!,and this explains the reason and idea and concept as well

Mendel's law of segregation states that there occurs no blending of traits, i.e. a parent contains 2n ploidy, the gametes will receive only n (half the no. Of chromosomes) due to meiosis
