dud mirror formula is very easy but their apply tough .
we give some point to apply mirror formula.
mirror formula,
1/v + 1/u =1/f
where v is position of image
u is position of object
f is focal length of mirror
=> all distance are measured from the center of the mirror (pole)
=>you put mirror like quadrant of geometry. in which origin is pole of mirror .
=> left side of mirror always take distance negative and right side positive.
=> position of object always consider negative execpt special condition, when question ask about position of object .
=> focal length of concave mirror positive and convex mirror consider negative .
