Explain mitosis and meiosis in short and easy way?

Hey there … So not many days left.. eh! Well let's have some fun..

Lets assume​ i ordered a pizzas(6 slice each) under one on one scheme(apparently not enough money to order two..) from dominos i.e i will be paying for a single pizza and will be getting two

Similarly in mitosis a cell pays (divides) for 6 slice but gets two pizzas each with 6 + 6 slices

I.e a cell say A with 6 chromosome divde once and has two daughter cells each with 6 chromosomes. hence number of chromosome of daughter cells are same as that of parent cell..

Thats why we call them clones… and other advantages and function you have got ncert for that

And share it with my friend now i have got 3 slices and he too have 3 slices major disappointment

Similarly in meiosis 1 a cell pays. (divides once ) for 6 slices and gets 6 slices now it had to be divided equally among daughter cells hence each daughter cell now have 3 slices each.

Now after performing some Hogwarts level magic  we both were able to duplicate our 3 slices now we each got 3+3 slices…

So as happened in mitosis now in meiosis 2 we have two cells each with 3 chromosomes now they both divide in regular fashion as in mitosis to form 2 daughter cells respectively

so now at the end of meiosis we have got

4 daughter cells each with 3 chromosomes each….

And crossing over, bouquet formation ,chiasmata formation and other crazy stuff also happens in meiosis 1 you have got ncert for that…..
