SOILD:
it is a state of matter whose particles are tightly fixed together by cohesive forces.. A solid body has a fixed shape and volume.. its particles cannot move freely. they just vibrate at their mean postion.. the attraction between them is so strong...
LIQUID:
It is a state of matter whose particles are not tighly fixed together by cohesive forces. Liquids have fixed volume but dont have any fixed shape.. they assume the shape of container in which it is kept.. attraction between their particles is not strong as compared to solids..
GAS:
It is a state of mtter whose particles can move freely with all possible velocities .. Gases have neither fixed shape nor fixed volume. their particles can move freely in all directions...
