Molar concentration is a measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution, or of any chemical species, in terms of amount of substance per unit volume.Molality, also called molal concentration, is a measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution in terms of amount of substance in a specified amount of mass of the solvent. This contrasts with the definition of molarity which is based on a specified volume of solution.

MOLARITY:- The number of moles of solute present in one litre of solution is called molarity.
MOLARITY= no of moles of solute(n)

volume of solution in lit
MOLALITY:- The number of moles of solute present in 1 kg(1000grms) of solvent is called molality.
MOLALITY=no of moles of solute
