Newton's 2nd law of motion

\huge{\boxed{\rm{\red{Answer}}}}

It states that the rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts.

Hope it is helpful to you friend.

Thank you...

NEWTON'S 2ND LAW OF MOTION:

  • This law states that rate of change of linear momentum of the body is directly proportional to the applied force, and this takes place in the direction in which the force acts.

Simple Explaination:

 \boxed{Force \propto \dfrac{\Delta P}{\Delta t}}

  • In other words, higher the rate of change of momentum higher will be the force exerted.

  • A classic example : When a cricket ball is suddenly stopped with the hands, the rate of change of momentum is extremely high leading to a high force being exerted on the hands. This leads to hurting of the hands.
