After her wedding to emperor Jahangir, Nur Jahan's rise to power was swift. A strong, charismatic, and well-educated woman who enjoyed the absolute confidence of her husband, Nur Jahan was the most powerful and influential woman at court during a period when the Mughal Empire was at the peak of its power and glory.

Answer:

As NurJahan was a very courageous and brave woman and as she had very good administrative skills she helped her husband rule the kingdom more efficiently by taking all the wise decisions and mostly she attended the diwan-i-khas and the diwan-i-aam. NurJahan even in her husband's absence she protected the Empire's borders and controlled all the rebels against her sons.

Hope It Helps :)
