Explain nutrition process in amoeba

Amoeba is an organism which takes food particles in for their nutrition. It usually forms a finger like projection called the pseudopodia which is used by it to trap food particle and intake it. After this it digests it and adds all edible part to its cytoplasm it stores the food particle in food vacuole and the remaining particles or unwanted ones are thrown out of its body.
