In India special importance is given to the relationships. People in India though differ by religion are similar in the way they regard the relationships with love.
For example the marriage relationship.
Marriages in India are given special importance and are considered sacred. Through marriage not only the bride and groom come together, but also their families.
So each person gets many new relationships from the new family. But they take special care to maintain these relations.
Proper respect and care is bestowed by each other to foster the bond. If not the relationship will not last long.
In Indian culture and in Indian sculptures the relationships are depicted as the gift of the god.

- This is done to provide a bridge between the God and human being. the relationship as a result of this are very precious and they are the building blocks of the personality of a human being.
- Hence according to the Indian culture the relationships are of utmost importance and should be respected since they are given by God.
