Intervention means programmatic activities that have been planned to bring about a change in an organization, intended towards improving its functioning.

The focus of intervention could be of different types like – individual, group, interpersonal, organization, and external environment.

Organization – Intervention refers to an activity and the consequent activities that intend to bring a change in the organization. The organization itself could make plans for the intervention, by either employing an internal or an external consultant.

Intervention is a set of structured activities in which organizational units which may be individuals or target groups engage in a sequence of tasks to achieve goals which might improve the organization directly or indirectly.

Group Intervention – Also called as Team intervention, it focuses on accomplishing the targets on par with the vision of the organization, along with improving the individual and team activities and goals.
