Oxygen Cycle- The oxygen cycle elaborates how oxygen circulates in various forms through nature. Oxygen occurs freely in the air, trapped in the earth crust as chemical compounds, or dissolved in water. Oxygen in the atmosphere is about 21%, and it is the second most abundant gas after nitrogen. It is mostly utilized by living organisms, especially man and animals in respiration. Oxygen is also the most common element of human body.

Carbon Cycle- The carbon cycle is the circulation and transformation of carbon back and forth between living things and the environment. Carbon is an element, something that cannot be broken down into a simpler substance. Other examples of elements are oxygen, nitrogen, calcium, iron, and hydrogen. Carbon compounds are present in living things like plants and animals and in nonliving things like rocks and soil. Carbon compounds can exist as solids (such as diamonds or coal), liquids (such as crude oil), or gases (such as carbon dioxide).

oxygen cycle                                                                                                                        oxygen forms about 21% of the atmospheric gasses. it is also present in water bodies helps in the survival of aquatic life.                                                        oxygen from the atmosphere is used up in the three process namely combustion, respiration, and formation of oxide of nitrogen.                                            all the living organisms take oxygen from their surroundings and utilized it for respiration. oxygen is returned to the atmosphere in only one major process that is photosynthesis so this is the process of oxygen cycle.                                                                                                                                        carbon cycle.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   in abiotic environment carbon is present in the following terms.                               as a carbon di oxide in the atmosphere.                                                              as a carbonate and hydrogen carbonate salts in various mineral.                      as a fossil fuel like coal petroleum and natural gas.                                                                                                                                                          plants utilise atmospheric carbon di oxide in photo synthesis to produce carbhohydrates which are taken by herbivores of them. pass through small of large carnivore.                                                                                                              bothy plants and animals realeases carbon di oxide to the atmosphere as a product of respiration .                                                                                          by decomposition of organic wastes and dead bodies by decomposes .                by burning of fossils fuels like coal and petroleum.  this the process of carbon cycle.
