Question :-

Person with 'O' blood group is considered as 'universal donor' . Explain

______________________________________

Answer :-

Group 'O' blood group is a universal donor.

Thus a person having the blood Group 'O' can donate blood to any blood group type.

Actually Blood group 'O' does not have any antigens of blood groups A and B.

Hence it does not attack the recipent's blood or the one to which the blood is being donated.

This makes Group 'O' a universal donor as it is safe to transfuse with any blood group.

Hope it helps !
