(base)^2+(perpendicular)^2=(hypotenuse)^2

In a triangle the angle formed 90 degree its opposite is considered as hypotenuse and the longest side and the rest sides are considered as base and perpendicular
the formula of pythagorus theorem is h2 =p2 +b2
