in simple language if an object does not move then it is in rest and if it moves(changes position) according to time intervals then it is in motion I.e. constant motion and if it covers different distance in same time intervals then it is said to be in non uniform motion.

so now we have constant motion(uniform motion) and non uniform motion(not constant)
