1. Dieting slowly trains the brain to ignore the bodily signals.
2. External factors decide what you eat and this becomes a problem once you stop dieting
3. Refusing your mental urge to eat reduces your willpower over the time.
4. It slows down your metabolism and this could create problems due to the loss of muscles that were metabolically active.
5. Dieting encourages nutritionism. Too much of any food 'good' or 'bad' is harmful to the body.
