this is Because the size of cation or anion goes on increasing down the group.... because the no. of shells in atom goes on increasing...
plz tell me if this is the order of size or something else??

Hey!
The radius of the hydrogen anion I.e. hydride ion is greater than fluoride ion because of the fact that in the former ion there are 2 electrons and 1 proton so the effective nuclear charge on this orbital decreases and atomic size increases
