hello...
The whole poem is written as if
the wind is echoing its thoughts. The wind is in the mood for some fun and all
set to cause a commotion. It shook various sign boards and blew off women’s
bonnets. The apples and oranges fell off the trees and rolled on the ground
much to the delight of urchins who ran behind them to collect as many fruits as
they could.
The wind proceeded to create havoc on a farm where it plucked at the tails of cows and tossed the manes of horses. After that, it started showing its power on birds resting on tree branches and scaring farm animals and birds out of their wits.
