Primary function management:
It is the responsibility of management to see that essential activities are done efficiently. The management process consists of four primary functions that managers must perform: planning, organising, leading and controlling.

Secondary function management:
A person who holds a management position inside an organisation is required to think strategically and conceptually in order to achieve organisational goals.
