explain propagation of sound in brief
it should not be copied from Google

sahilkhan7: The Propagation of sound. Sound is a sequence of waves of pressure which propagates through compressible media such as air or water. (Sound can propagate through solids as well, but there are additional modes of propagation). During their propagation, waves can be reflected, refracted, or attentuated by the medium.

Is solids and on surface of liquids sound travels in transverse wave form forming crests and troughs whereas is gases and inside liquids sound travels in logitudinal wave form forming compressions and rarefactoins.
