HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

Relationship between Shivaji Maharaj and Aurangzeb can’t be determined .

Aurangzeb belonged to Mughal dynasty and was a very keen administrator of the kingdom . Aurangzeb was a representative of all the muslim kingdoms / sultanates or we can say territories at that time because he had the second largest kingdom in terms of area and largest kingdom in terms of revenue generation . Aurangzeb always tried to convert people into islam and was staunch proponent of Jihad .

On the other hand Shivaji Maharaj was the only Hindu ruler in the whole Indian Subcontinent and was very secular in his thoughts . He always tried , fought , battled for his subjects , people’s welfare against strong sultanates like Adilshahi and powers like Mughals .

Coming back to point , Aurangzeb always called Shivaji “ Pahadi Chua” or ‘Mountain rat’ . Aurangzeb always had hatred for Shivaji due to his Warfare techniques which were invincible and which can’t be invaded easily . Aurangzeb hated Shivaji very much but also admired his intelligence skills and his intellect .

But the relationship between Shivaji and Aurangzeb can’t be determined because of the clever minds of both the rulers .

It is said that , “ We can’t understand Shivaji because we never understood Aurangzeb”
