rhizobium is the nitrogen fixing bacteria present in the soil . The Rhizobium chemically converted the nitrogen from the air to make it available for the plant. These bacteria live in symbiotic relationship with leguminous plants. The rhizobium live in the nodules in the root of the plant. These bacteria convert the atmospheric nitrogen into nitrates which is very essential for plants.
