Self Inducted EMF: It describes an EMF that is induced in the conductor by varying in its own. When current is changing (increase or decrease) the magnetic field is also changing around the coil and according to Faraday Law, EMF are induced in the coil itself which is called self induced EMF.
Mutually Induced EMF: When an alternating current or voltage is exerted to the coil "a" varying current will move in the that coil and as a result a varying magnetic field will produce around the coil. Now, if we placed another coil "b" in the field of that coil "a" then according to Faraday Law, EMF is induced in the coil "b" which is called mutually induced EMF.
