1-STATIC FRICTION-The friction at rest is called static friction. 2-SLIDING FRICTION-When an object is sliding over another is called sliding friction. 3-ROLLING FRICTION-When one body rolls over the surface of another body the resistance to its motions is called rolling friction. 4-FLUID FRICTION OR DRAG-The frictional force exertad by liquids is called fluid friction or drag.
