Neuron is the longest cell in our body.it is more or less like a plant.the two main parts of neuron are axon and cyton.cyton is also known as the cell body.it is composed of dendron,dendrite and nucleus.axon is also known as nerve fibre.it is composed of schwann cell,neurilemma,myelin sheath,nissl granules, and node of ranvier.the ball like structures at the end of neuron is known as synaptic knob.
