Tobacco mosaic virus and bacteriophage are cylindrical in structure or we can also say they are helical or filamentous in their structure.
Since they belong into the same Kingdom "Virus" they all possess anot envelope, capsid, nucleiod and ordinarily and enzyme for their functions. Capsid has subunits named capsomeres which are present in Tobacco mosaic virus and bacteriophages. TMV has a total of 2130 ovate capsomeres and bacteriophage like T2 have the number similar and close to about 29000 ovate capsomeres.
