Qualification of the Indian President are :

  1. he / she should be a citizen of India .
  2. he / sheshould not be less than 35 years of age .
  3. he / she should be qualified under the laws made by the Parliament.

The President of India is elected directly by the Electoral college consiting of the elected members of the Parliament and Legislative Assembly by single transferable vote system .
