7 C's of Communication tells about the skill set required for an effective communication.
The 7 C's are as follows :-
- Complete
- Correct
- Concrete
- Consideration
- Concise
- Courteous
- Clear
The message should be complete which means that it should provide all the relevant information required.
The message should be correct which means that it should be grammatically right, spoken with correctness so that the audience doesn't misinterpret it and understands what actually you want to convey.
The message should be concrete which means that it should be solidified with facts and figures so that no room for doubts and wrong interpretation is left.
The speaker should have taken the mindset, opinions, knowledge of the audience into consideration in order to have an effective communication. The sender should know how to hit a large audience and consideration is the basic step of involving with your audience.
The message should be concise which means that it should not be lengthy. Audience loves to hear point to point things as they can retain that well. So, ignore involving those things in your message which aren't necessary. Keep it short and precise.
Be courteous while delivering your message. You should respect the viewpoint and opinions of your audience. Your message should not be biased.
Last but not the least, the message should be clear. The speaker should be clear enough with the goals and ideas and message which he/she wants to convey to the audience. There is no use of a communication until and unless it is clear and is understood by everyone.
