Explain the acidic nature of Acetylene.

Acetylene has two hydrogens attached to triple bonded carbon atoms i.e.., SP hybridized carbon atoms in which "s" character is 50%. With increase in s character acidic nature increases.So hydrogen attached to SP hybridized carbon atom is more acidic than those hydrogen's attached to SP2 and SP3 hybridized carbon atoms.
