Heya

______________

Here is the answer ⤵⤵

A.> Action of HCl on magnesium ribbon

As we know, metals react with acid to form hydrogen gas and salt. Similarly, Mg ( Magnesium ) will react with HCl to form a salt of MgCl2 with the evolution of H2 gas.

The reaction is as :--->

Mg ( Metal ) + HCl ( acid) -------> MgCl2 ( salt) + H2 ( Hydrogen gas)

B.> Reaction of sodium hydroxide ( NaOH ) with Hydrochloric acid( HCl ) is an example of neutralisation reaction.

HCl ( acid ) and NaOH ( base) react together to form salt and water.

The reaction is as follows:--->

HCl (acid) + NaOH ( Base) ---------> NaCl ( salt ) + H2O ( water )

C.> Crushed egg shell is composed of Calcium Carbonate ( CaCO3 ).

We know, metal carbonates react with acids to form water , salt and carbon dioxide gas.

So, the overall reaction will be ⤵⤵

CaCO3 ( Crushed egg shell ) + HCl ( acid ) -----------> CaCl2 ( salt) + H2O ( water) + CO2 ( Carbon dioxide gas).
