The disadvantage is that the politicians discriminate on the basis of caste and encourage only the people of their community.

there are many advantages of cast in politics assume that you belongs to a cast whose population is much more in comparison of other casts then you will be dominant and mostly people will favour you who belongs to your cast.

but if you belong to a cast which is not major in that area then there are many disadvantages but always in my opinion there are more disadvantages of cast in politics
