The definition of barter is a system under which goods and services are exchanged instead of currency, or the actual goods or services that are being exchanged. An example of barter is when the people within a community exchange goods and services so that money needn't be used.

Explanation:

Many a times ago its a frequently used system in our country . Barter system means exchange of goods in return of money . people gave goods in return instead of money .

For example : if any customer have 10 kg rice but he want 10 kg wheat ,then he goes to shopkeeper and bought 10 kg wheat and in return of money the customer give 10 kg rice to shopkeeper.
