Organisms on basis of cell number
are of 2 types
1 . unicellular -those who are single celled.e.g.amoeba
2 . multicellular - those that have more than 1 cell in their bodies e.g.humans
on mode of nutrition
1.there are saprophytic organism that feed on dead decay
2.autotrophic that makes their own food e.g.plants
3.heterotrophic that depends on autotrophs for their food.
And on basis of complexity of cells
organisms may be;
1.prokaryotes those who don't have well defined nucleus.
2 . eukaryotes those who have well defined nucleus
