▶️Body is divided into three distinct regions head Thorax and abdomen

▶️Head somewhat triangular there's a pair of dorsolateral large compound eyes 3 small oscillator tween two compounds eyes and mouth parts ventrally .

▶️Thorax consists of three segments prothorax mesothorax and metathoraxs in each of the thoracic segment one pair of jointed legs is present ventrally attached to the miso Thorax and metalogix dorsally there are two pairs of membranous wings

♒Apart from these common factors the workers ,queen and drones can be identified by their own specific features ;

✴️A) WORKERS :
⏩workers are smallest in size
⏩ abdominal segments beer wax glands which are present ventrally on the four posterior abdominal segments
⏩a string is present at the end of the last abdominal segment
⏩pollan- collecting biscuits are present in the metal thoracic legs

✴️QUEEN :
⏫Queen is a largest size in a Colony of bees every Colony has a single Queen Bee
⏩ the abdomen is long and tapering
⏩wings and legs are smaller
eyes are smaller
⏩wax glands is absent in the abdominal segment

✴️DRONES:
⏩drones are larger than workers but smaller than queen in size
⏩ eyes are very large
⏩wax glands are absent in the abdominal segment

⚫the common Indian species of bees are apis dorsata ,apis Indica and apis florea

APIS DORSATA is largest in size and
APIS FLOREA is smallest
