India has a wide variety of physiographic features. These result in diverse climatic conditions. ... In the sandy regions of the Rajasthan, the temperature variation between day and night could be up to 50°C. There are equable as well as extremeclimates. While Delhi sweats, Khilanmarg in Kashmir is covered with snow.
