they are creat mistakes in finding LCM of the fractions. then another mistake they made is in dividing fractions which are big or which are not completely divisible.

when they are just learning they commit silly mistakes.
1. they might add the numerator directly without even thinking about the denominator or vice versa.
2. they might interchange between the num and denom
3. they forget that a whole number is a fraction which has 1 in denominator
4. they mess up in determining the order of magnitude of given fractions, they should be taught LCM methods properly
