The French Revolution was started on 14th July 1789 in the city of Paris.on that time the economical conditions of France was very bad. one day a rumour spread that the king Louis xvith has orderd to open fire on citizens. That's why the citizens of France started the revolution. There was also a problem ,was that the society of France was categorised in three parts and they were (1) Clergy (2) Nobility (3) Commons . The problem was that, only commons had to give tax for the welfare of France . while commons have 60% of population and they were given only 20% of land . This showed the despotic power of the king . This was the main cause of French Revolution . And at last on 21 September 1792 it abolished the Monarchy and declared France as a Republic.
