Public history is a broad range of activities undertaken by people with some training in the discipline of history who are generally working outside of specialized academic settings. Public history has many antecedents.These include history museums, historical society and public and private archives.Applied history is also known as public history.It deals with the study of the application of history which is useful for our future generation and contemporary beings. Through the knowledge of history,one can find solutions to contemporary issues and social plannings.
