Robert hooke was a scientist who discovered CELL for the first time using a microscope.
He discovered cells in the cork of his microscope.
He named those tiny organisms cell which meant tiny compartments.
His contribution is that now people know about the applications and ideas about the advantages and disadvantages as well as the existence of these tiny entities which help in making medicines or give birth to deadly disease through their carrer known as PATHOGENS which are MICROORGANISMS.
