Swami Ramananda Tirtha is a well-known fighter, social activist and educator that led the whole Hyderabad liberation struggle during the reigning time of Osman Ali Khan who is said to be the last Nizam of the state Hyderabad.
Nizam declared himself as an independent entity as he was against acceding state Hyderabad in Pakistan or India. Ramananda was imprisoned due to his efforts in the liberation policies.
