Mass is the amount of matter contained in a body while weight is the force that is exerted by the gravity on the body.

Mass remains constant everywhere whereas weight may differ from place to place.

Mass is usually measured in grams or kilograms, whereas weight is commonly measured in Newtons.

Yes, the weight changes from place to place like your weight on earth is 6 times of what you weigh on moon.
