Explain the difference between solving the equation x = √16 and x2 = 16

The only difference is in first case x is not squared so its root 16 or 4.

And in second case x has been square thats why its 16=(4) square.

Answer 1st one means the square root of 16...

And it have value of + 4 or -4

✓ and 2nd one means that the square of a number is 16...
