Traditional energy sources are the ones which have been in use for ages like wood, coal, oil, fossil fuels etc.

Most of the traditional energy sources are non-renewable.

But with the increase in the knowledge and research in the field of environment people have come to know the importance of non-renewable sources and have been suggested to shift to the renewable sources. Since. non-renewable resources are limited and will end due to exploitation.

Thus, in order to insure sustainable development use of renewable resources is mandatory.

Renewable resources are Solar, Wind, Hydro-power etc.
