Rabi Crops:- The crops which are grown in winter season are called "Rabi Crops" (From:-October to March).
Examples of Rabi crops:- Wheat, gram, pea, mustard, and linseed.
Kharif Crops:- The crops which are down in the rainy season are called "Kharif Crops" (From:-June to September)
Examples of Kharif crops:- Paddy,maize,soyabean,groundnut, cotton, etc
Zaid Crops:- The crops grown on irrigated lands which do not have to wait for monsoons, in the short duration between Ravi & Kharif crop season,mainly from March to June are "Zaid Crops". These crops are mainly grown in the summer season during this period called " Zaid Crop season "
