The pH of your blood is normally between 7.35 and 7.45, just slightly above neutral. The term "pH" -- which stands for potential hydrogen -- gives you an idea of a substance's acidity or alkalinity. Strenuous physical activityis even a strain on your blood, which can cause your blood pH to drop or become more acidic.

Effect of strenuous exercise is explained below
Strenuous physical exercise is the exercise which causes increased workout of muscles. The consequence is used up of stored macromolecules.
To increase the metabolism in less supply of oxygen, which is a consequence of strenuous exercise, cells have to switch to anaerobic metabolism.
This increases lactic acid concentration which drops the pH of the blood.
Inability in use of carbon dioxide and hydrogen ions produced as the product also contribute to a drop in pH. The increased drop in pH may result in acidosis condition.
In the condition of pH disbalance, buffers come to rescue in blood.
