Prevention from Rusting

Methods used to prevent Rusting of Iron are as follows: Alloying – Since Rusting of Iron is a chemical process that happens because the metal is attaining more stable chemical state, alloying (mixing) the iron with other stable metals or alloys can slow down the process of rusting.

Hello Mate

Rusting is a specific kind of corrosion which applies to iron-containing metals. Rusting has a number of effects on metal objects. It makes them look orange and rough. It makes them weaker, by replacing the strong iron or steel with flaky powder.

Whenever you get iron, water and oxygen together, you get rust. So the best way to prevent it is to keep them apart; that's what paint does, or the spray-on wax and oil coatings that the car protection companies sell. Keep your tools dry; wipe down your bike after a ride; keep the water away and it can't rust.

Hope it helps you
