The events in a normal woman during her menstrual cycle on the following days are:

(a) Pituitary hormone levels from 8 to 12 days

This is the Follicular phase, the levels of estrogen and progesterone are level during this period, because of which the thick lining of the utarian walls shred and bleeding occurs. About this time, the follicle-stimulating hormone level increases slightly, stimulating the development of follicles, containing the eggs in the ovaries. The FSH and LH hormone levels are initially low in this period.

(b) Uterine events from 13 to 15 days

This is the Ovulatory phase, Endometrium is highly vascularised as the LH and FSH are at peak, which in turn result in the rupture of Graafian follicle and thereby ovulation, that is the release of ovum.

(c) Ovarian events from 16 to 23 days

This is luteal phase, after ovulation the Graafian follicle transforms into corpus luteum, which in turn results in the secretion of progesterone and that helps in maintaining endometrium.

Menstrual cycle

Explanation:

(a) In a typical lady during her menstrual cycle, the Pituitary hormone levels from 8 to 12 days are low. The FSH and LH levels – low. During the menstrual period the pituitary organ produces hormones specifically FSH (Follicle invigorating hormone) and LH (luteinising hormone)  8-12 days in menstrual cycle is follicular stage. The FSH and LH emission increments progressively during this stage. Right now advancement happens and estrogens is emitted by developing follicles.

(b) In a typical lady during her menstrual cycle, the Uterine occasions from 13 to 15 days are as per the following:

  • During nowadays the LH and FSH achieve top level. The quick discharge of LH prompts burst of Graafian follicle and along these lines ovulation (the arrival of ovum) happens.
  • This is ovulatory stage during nowadays Endometrium is profoundly vascularised  And the Endometrium of uterus recovers through multiplication. It is proliferative period of uterine coating

(c) In a typical lady during her menstrual cycle, the ovarian occasions from 16 to 23 days are as per the following:

  • This is luteal stage. During nowadays corpus luteum is framed.
  • After ovulation the Graafian follicle changes to corpus luteum.
  • Progesterone is discharged with the assistance of corpus luteum.
  • Progesterone helps in looking after endometrium.
