It was a rare pleasure for Helen to visit the Perkins Institution for the blind.She instantly made friends with all the blind children.It delighted her inexpressibly to find that they knew manual alphabet, what a joy it was to her to talk with other children in her own language.She knew she could not see but it seemed strange that all these eager, loving children were also blind.One day she spent with them made her feel thoroughly at home in her new environment.
