Hello buddy following is the answer.

The experiment to demonstrate that oxygen is realised during photosynthesis ;

Place water plant in a beaker containing pond water.

Cover the plant with short stemmed funnel.

Invert the test tube full of water and cover the stem of the funnel.

While placing the test tube, ensure that the level of the water in beaker is above the level of stem of funnel.

Expose the apparatus to the sunlight.

After few hours, gas bubbles will form and collect in the test tube.

Test the gas in the test tube.

A glowing splinter bursts into the flame shows the presence of oxygen.

Observation:

Gas bubbles in a test tube.

Result:

Presence of oxygen.

Conclusion:

Formation of gas bubbles prove that oxygen is produced by the green plants during photosynthesis.

Experiment to show that oxygen is released during photosynthesis :

  • Take two beakers filled with water, add few crystals of sodium bicarbonate to both beakers.
  • Place hydrilla plant in both the Beakers and invert large funnels over them.
  • Take two test tubes Place small pieces of steel wool at the bottom, fill them with water and invert them over the stem of each funnel.
  • Place one of the beakers in a bright Sunny area and other in the dark place for about 48 hours.

  • As stated earlier photosynthesis is a chemical reaction it can be represented with the help of an equation

  • carbon dioxide + water {\frac{Sunlight}{Chlorophyll}} Glucose + oxygen + water

  • {\sf 6CO_2}+ {\sf 12H_2O} {\sf C_6H_1_20_6} {\sf 6O_2} + {\sf 6H_2O}
