The factors that affect the climate of India are-
1. lattitude
The latitude of tropic of cancer passes through the Rann of Kuchch in the west and Mizoram in the east,thus dividing India into 2 equal parts.Therfore India has a climate of subtropical and tropical.
2. altitude
India has mountains in the front of altitude 6000 m and width of 30 m.
These mountains do not let the cold Siberian winds from north west Asia to India.That's why India experience milder climate.
3. Pressure and winds
The Western Cyclonic Disturbances affect the climate of north western India.The jet streams get attracted by low pressure created in INDIA
